David Williams brings experience from EY, Barclays and Morgan Stanley
Williams brings over 15 years of experience in financial leadership positions at major investment banks. Most recently, he held an executive role at global asset manager Janus Henderson, having previously spent almost a decade in senior positions at Morgan Stanley and Barclays Investment Bank.
Based in London, Williams will be responsible for leading and managing Taskize’s financial operations, as well as providing strategic insight into financial performance to internal and external stakeholders.
The news follows a significant phase of global expansion for Taskize, which now supports more than 600 financial institutions across 88 countries in improving the client experience, boosting operational capacity, and enhancing risk mitigation.
David Williams, chief financial officer of Taskize, said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Taskize as it continues to expand and solve tricky operational challenges for financial institutions far and wide. As firms prepare for major operational shifts, not least the transition to T+1 settlement in the UK and EU, collaborative technology like Taskize’s platform will be essential in delivering a seamless transition. I’m excited to help ensure Taskize is well positioned to continue delivering this support as it scales.”
Diederik Geeraerts, CEO of Taskize, added: “David’s previous positions make him an invaluable source of expertise for Taskize. With regulatory complexity increasing across global markets, his leadership will be invaluable as we continue to help clients navigate an ever-evolving post-trade landscape.”
The news is the latest step in Taskize’s growth journey, following shortly after the appointments of Helen Adair and Alfred Escobedo as Chief Product Officer and head of business development for the LATAM region respectively.
