The 24th Taskize Operations Forum (TOF) was our inaugural forum dedicated to our Asian clients and included senior executives across the buy-side, sell-side and market infrastructures from the region.
There was great energy in the (virtual) room and a higher than usual Q&A session covering data security, integration with Symphony and different subscription models.
Given the quality of conversations and interactions we’ve been having during the different TOFs, there has been a desire among our clients to make the content accessible to peers. To this end, we have uploaded a recording of the event.
Euroclear Bank were keen to promote this event to support their growing use of Taskize in the region. Luc VanTomme (Chief Commercial Officer APAC, Euroclear) explained Euroclear’s strategy for client service across Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, that builds on their 4 years of using Taskize in Europe and the Americas. He re-iterated that as Euroclear’s preferred client service channel, Taskize is available to their members free-of-charge.

Being the first TOF for Asia, John O’Hara (CEO, Taskize) focused on the strategy of Taskize and its vision to replace email, phone and chat in operations with inter-company issue resolution. He outlined how Taskize is being used, not only in client service, but across all business workflows in operations to connect firms to their counterparties, outsourcers and service providers. Finally, he outlined how Taskize realises the importance of being open and easy to integrate with internal systems and third parties, mentioning some names included in the growing list of partners and fintechs already connected to Taskize.
Philip Slavin (COO, Taskize) closed the event with an overview of the key Taskize features and their value to daily operations, details of the simple on-boarding process, an outline of the enrolment process for the sponsored Euroclear service, and the other subscriptions available.
The next Asia TOF is scheduled for Feb 2021.
