Two inspiring panels, one video interview and the launch of a white paper in collaboration with Microsoft and Euroclear. Just three of the highlights for Taskize on Day One of Sibos 2025….

09h15: T+1 panel with Gareth Jones

Gareth Jones, Head of Product Management Settlement and Cash at Euroclear – Taskize’s parent company – joined the panel “T+1 and beyond: Building the future of global markets” to explore whether T+1 has delivered on its promise of reduced risk and improved liquidity – and what lies ahead for securities, FX, and collateral markets.

The panel discussed post-migration insights from global markets and how automation and real-time data integration are shaping the next generation of market infrastructure.

16h30: whitepaper launch with Antonio Queiroz

The highlight of the afternoon was the launch of a joint whitepaper by Taskize, Euroclear and Microsoft, presented in the panel “The next frontier for capital markets”, where Antonio Queiroz – Board Chair of Taskize and Chief Digital Officer at Euroclear – shared insights into how emerging technologies are reshaping the industry.

Taskize is proud to have contributed to this whitepaper, collaborating on the “Re-imagine the client experience” chapter in which we explore how emerging technologies like AI, cloud and confidential computing can:

17h00: video interview with Diederik Geeraerts

Day one rounded out with the recording of a video interview with Taskize's CEO, Diederik Geeraerts, Euroclear’s Gareth Jones, and Meritsoft’s Daniel Carpenter. The discussion centered on the launch of EasyFocus+, the “next-generation exception management platform”.

Powered by AI and hosted on Microsoft Cloud, Euroclear EasyFocus+ delivers real-time data, predictive insights, and resolution capabilities across all Euroclear CSDs.

By integrating Meritsoft's ITEM and Taskize's collaboration platform, EasyFocus+ offers a consolidated view of settlement instructions – enabling faster, smarter exception resolution and reinforcing Euroclear's commitment to harmonisation, innovation, and client proximity.

Stay tuned as we continue to share updates from Sibos 2025 throughout the week!
